Trusted time & position solutions
Trusted Position & Timing. Even when GNSS is denied.
Resilient, alternative PNT for autonomous systems, maritime operations and critical applications.
Trusted Time. Trusted Position. Trusted Autonomy.
The challenge
GNSS has become unreliable
Maritime, logistics, utility companies, critical infrastructure, financial institutions and communications networks, amongst others, all rely heavily on GNSS for position and timing. However, GNSS has proven easy to disrupt, jam or spoof, leaving critical systems vulnerable to outages and malicious attacks.
Jamming
Jamming of weak GNSS signals can affect sensitive terrestrial receivers and disrupt autonomous operations, transport and critical systems.
Spoofing & replay attacks
GNSS receivers can be misled by false signals that look real, placing a system at the wrong location.
Denied environments
Buildings, terrain and interference can block weak GNSS signals, resulting in little or no usable GNSS at all.
SiPoint Overview

Building blocks for robust PNT
Position and timing solutions + support, for teams developing resilient systems.
Why LEO signals?
Closer satellites = stronger signals
GNSS satellites orbit about 20,000 km away, whereas Iridium Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites are much closer at around 780 km. Because they are significantly closer, their received signals are typically up to 1,000 times stronger than GPS.
This increased signal power provides better resistance to jamming and interference, while enabling reception in indoor and urban environments. Additionally, because LEO satellites cross the sky in minutes, their rapidly changing Doppler and geometry make them infeasible to spoof.
Our lead products build on Iridium STL - Satellite Time and Location, an established and proven LEO PNT service with global coverage.
1,000× stronger
Iridium's signal arrives up to 1,000 times stronger than GPS. This cuts through jamming and can reach indoor and urban locations.
Authenticated
Iridium's signal is encrypted and authenticated, allowing receivers to detect and reject false signals.
Hard to spoof
LEO satellites cross the sky in minutes. Their rapidly changing doppler and geometry are very hard to imitate.
Global
Iridium coverage reaches from pole to pole, offering global PNT.
Applications
Position & timing systems for continuous operations
Security
Trusted position and timing solutions that remain available in GNSS degraded environments, especially where teams need dependable situational awareness.
Maritime
Many of a ship's critical systems rely on GNSS. Outages can impact operations and safety. SiPoint provides resilient timing and position for maritime systems.
Autonomous systems
Low size, weight and power (SWaP) PNT modules deliver trusted time and positioning for autonomous vehicles and platforms.
Humanitarian
Dependable alternative PNT for teams working in remote or disaster-affected areas when infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
